Mozilla Firefox Not Working
This guide will help you make sure that Mozilla Firefox is set up correctly so that your search experience returns to normal once again.
1 Clear history and saved data
The first order of business is to ensure that your browser is not retaining some obsolete or incorrect data in the form of an old cookie, the cached version of the website you may be trying to load, etc. Deleting this data allows your browser to load the websites you are asking to load recently as if you had never been there before.
1. Open Firefox and select the Menu in the upper right corner.
2. Click on Options.
3. Click on Privacy and security.
4. Click on the Clear History button located under the History category.
5. Select the time range you want to delete.
6. Click the Details button to expand them.
7. Choose the categories of items you want to delete.
Browsing history and verified download
Browsing history: while browsing, your browser will track each page you visit, to try to make it easier to return. This may be corrupted due to modern active web pages.
Download history: This is a list of files that you have recently downloaded. It is completely safe to delete or maintain this list, as it will not affect the pages. Checking this option does not delete the files you have downloaded, only the list maintained by the browser.
Search form and history marked
Information when entering online forms, such as your name, address or other complete information. This does not affect the way a page loads and can slow it down on the most used pages.
Cookies are how websites "know" when you visit them several times. This file can get corrupted, and simply downloading a new one can solve many problems.
You will have to log in again on any page you use, such as mail or social networks.
Active session starts marked
Active logins are sites where you are currently logged in and have asked to remember that you are logged in. Remove them just log out of these sites.
Website data offline without checking
If you have allowed it, a website can store files on your computer so you can continue using it when you are not connected to the Internet.
Unmarked site preferences
Site-specific preferences, including the zoom level saved for sites, character encoding and permissions for sites.
8. Click on the Delete now button.
